kinetisCookie policy

kinetis.online stores nothing on your device. It sets no cookies, and it uses no localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, tracking pixels or fingerprinting. It makes no requests to third-party servers.
Why there is no cookie banner
EU law requires consent before a website stores information on your device or reads information from it, unless that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. This rule comes from Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, implemented in the Czech Republic by Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications. The GDPR then governs any personal data involved. Because this site does not store or read anything on your device, there is nothing to ask consent for. A banner would only get in your way.
How to check this yourself
- Open this site in Chrome, Edge or Firefox and press F12, or right-click and choose Inspect, to open the developer tools.
- Storage: go to the Application tab (Chrome/Edge) or the Storage tab (Firefox). Look under Cookies, Local storage, Session storage and IndexedDB for
https://kinetis.online. They should all be empty. - Network: open the Network tab and reload the page. Every request should go to
kinetis.online. Click any request and check that the response headers contain noSet-Cookie. - In Safari, first turn on Show features for web developers in Settings → Advanced, then use Develop → Show Web Inspector.
What happens when you click a partner link
When you click a button labelled "Partner link", you leave kinetis.online. The affiliate network and Avast's website may set their own cookies, for example to attribute a purchase to us, under their own cookie policies and consent tools. Those cookies belong to their domains, not ours. See our privacy policy, section 5.

If we ever start using cookies or similar technologies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
